CAF Infantry Officer’s Sword

Produced in accordance with the British MOD specifications UK/SC/6202 Issue 1 using the tooling purchased from Wilkinson Sword Ltd. in 2005. As such, they also meet the Canadian DND/DSSPM specifications.
Blade

• Dimensions: 825 x 25 x 6.5mm
• Specifications: forged stainless steel blade; hardened to ca 48-52° HRC Rockwell, well-tempered and hand-polished
• Design: acid etched both sides with the NEW Canadian Army Universal pattern for Infantry swords

Guard: pierced guard with Royal cypher design, hand-polished, nickel-plated with nickel-plated brass cap

Grip: covered with genuine sharkskin, wrapped with three silver-plated wires

Scabbard: nickel-plated, hand-polished steel tube with two attachment rings

Accessory: protective cloth bag included

Note: this sword is also the preferred pattern for some police forces. It is customized by laser engraving the Force crest on the right side (or both sides) of the blade and sometimes the scabbard.
