Artillery Officer’s Sword

Produced in accordance with the British MOD specifications UK/SC/6202 Issue 1 using the tooling purchased from Wilkinson Sword Ltd. in 2005. As such, they also meet the Canadian DND/DSSPM specifications.  This sword is the official RCA pattern offered for sale by Guthrie Woods Products Ltd and the RCA Kit Shop in Shilo, MB.

Blade

• Dimensions: 870 x 25 x 6mm
• Specifications: forged stainless steel blade; hammered to the correct curvature; hardened to approx. 48-52° HRC Rockwell, well-tempered and hand-polished
• Design: acid etched both sides with the official RCA pattern as designed and authorized by the Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery (2013).

Guard: cast brass, hand-polished, nickel-plated with nickel-plated brass cap

Grip: covered with genuine rayskin, wrapped with three silver-plated wires

Scabbard: nickel-plated, hand-polished steel tube with two attachment rings is included in the purchase price. Optional genuine brown calf leather scabbard with two attachment rings can be requested as a special order.

Accessory: protective cloth bag included
