This sword and scabbard are crafted in accordance with the British MOD specifications using the tooling purchased from Wilkinson Sword Ltd. in 2005. As such, they also meet the Canadian DND/DSSPM specifications.
Blade
- Dimensions: 890 x 25 x 7 mm
- Specifications: forged stainless steel blade; hardened to ca 48-52° HRC Rockwell, well-tempered and hand-polished
- Design: acid etched both sides with the CAF Cavalry pattern
Guard: stamped brass, hand-polished, nickel-plated; nickel-plated brass cap
Grip: covered with fishskin, wrapped with three silver-plated wires
Scabbard: nickel-plated, hand-polished steel tube with two attachment rings; optional genuine brown calf leather scabbard with nickel-plated mouthpiece also available.
Accessory: protective cloth bag included
